The Lamasco Bank was established in 1914 and closed in 1976. Neighbors to the bank were the Evansville Paper Box Company, the Rochester Bargain House (originally the A.P. Lahr buliding built in 1881), an advertisement for Red Spot Paints, and the J.E. Lorenz Groceries. In the background you can see a typical water tower common in this age and also the Sterling Brewery Building. In the foreground are tracks for trolley cars.
